Metro Voices' Director, Jenny O'Grady, has herself enjoyed a wide ranging career as a singer working regularly with numerous ensembles and orchestras including The Ambrosian Opera Chorus, London Voices, The London Sinfonietta, The Hanover Band and The Royal Opera House.

In recordings and concerts she has worked with leading artists as diverse as Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Andre Previn, Sir Georg Solti, Riccardo Muti, Elaine Paige, John Miles and Paul McCartney. She performed solo on the tracks Propaganda for Sparks, Argentina for Jeremy Healey and Amos and on Look At Me for Geri Halliwell. Television credits include The Two Ronnies, The Dancing Years, James Galway's Christmas Carol as well as several plays and musicals for BBC Television.

In the area of Musical Theatre she has worked on Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Godspell, Smokey Joe's Café, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Napoleon. She is resident vocal coach for the London Production of Lion King.

Jenny has trained a variety of artists including Patsy Palmer, Javine, Jennifer Saunders for her role as Fairy Godmother in Shrek 2, Jason Flemyng for Rock Star and Val Kilmer in Alexander. She was Chorus Master on the MGM Film 'De-Lovely' starring Kevin Klein and trained many of the stars including Jonathan Pryce and Ashley Judd.

In 2006 Jenny became a member of BAFTA.
